Our story started right here in Cincinnati at the University of Cincinnati campus more than 25 years ago. Dan Schimberg, then a current UC student, began acquiring and renovating off campus houses and apartment buildings. Dan saw the potential at UC, an urban campus with renowned programs like College-Conservatory of Music and College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) that attract undergraduate and graduate students from all corners of the world. Best of all is UC's location in vibrant Uptown, the city's second-largest employment center with one-of-a-kind amenities like the historic Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden.

Dan continued investing in UC area properties as the university itself expanded. He expanded the company's expertise into new locations, choosing Cincinnati's most desirable residential neighborhoods, such as Hyde Park and Mt. Lookout. Dan became a committed volunteer in community development and planning of neighborhoods near UC, believing that strong neighborhoods are essential components to a thriving city.
