Love Your Apartment & Ready To Renew Your Lease?
UNIVERSITY AREA: Here’s what you need to know!
Is There A Deadline To Renew My Lease?
There is no specific deadline to renew, but we encourage early renewal to ensure your apartment will be available to you. If someone places a deposit on your apartment, you will be given the option to renew your lease within 48 hours. After that, a new lease may be signed and your opportunity to renew will be lost.
Will My Rent Increase?
As the cost of utilities, insurance, and taxes go up, typically rents do as well. Several factors also affect your rent rate such as unit type, size, and location. Someone from the office will contact you via phone or email with specific rate information, or you can simply give us a call – 513-861-9394.
When Will Uptown Begin Showing My Apartment?
Showings start November 1st for the upcoming school year. Apartments are shown on a rotating basis depending on availability. Every unit is considered available until either a renewal lease or a new lease has been signed. Once your signed renewal lease is received at the office, your apartment will be taken out of the showing rotation.
Showings are scheduled seven days a week during the following time frames:
Monday – Thursday: 9:00am – 7:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
How Do I Make Sure I Don’t Lose My Parking Space For Next Year?
Just like your apartment, parking spaces are available until they are renewed. You can renew your parking space when you renew your lease, but there is no guarantee that we will still have parking available if you wait too long! Your parking payment will be due at the start of your new lease.
I Want To Renew My Lease With A Different Roommate. What Do I Need To Do?
All you need to do is sign the renewal lease and bring in your new roommate. Your new roommate will need to fill out a rental application and pay the application fee and deposit. Once approved, they will just need to sign renewal lease.
